Surveys have started to be sent! Important details here
about 2 months ago – Tue, Jan 27, 2026 at 06:19:21 AM

Hey everybody,

Yesterday and today we have started to send out the Backerkit surveys for the pledge manager.  It is very important that you fill these out as soon as possible.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://depthsofperdition.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://depthsofperdition.backerkit.com/faq.

If you are paying in installments...

Backerkit won't send out surveys to backers who have not completed all of their payments.  This isn't a big deal for those of you with physical pledges, as we won't be sending those out right away anyways.

However, for those of you with digital STL pledges whose Kickstarter email addresses don't match your MyMiniFactory email addresses, you can email us at [email protected] with your Kickstarter pledge information and your MyMiniFactory email address, and we will get you your STLs as soon as possible.

If you only ordered STLs...

Last Friday we sent out the STLs via MyMiniFactory to your Kickstarter emails.  For some of you this will NOT have worked, as your Kickstarter emails don't match your MyMiniFactory emails.  If this is the case then fill out the survey as soon as possible, and we'll start to fulfill those soon.

We'll probably fulfill STLs every other day, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for yours.

If you were part of the prelaunch email list...

I'm going to send out another email separately with instructions on how to claim your bonus STLs.  Keep an eye out for that, including your spam box.

Thanks so much for your support!

Funds have arrived - next steps
about 2 months ago – Fri, Jan 23, 2026 at 06:43:46 AM

Hey everybody,

As of the last hour the funds from Kickstarter have arrived, along with the final backer report which allows us to see who's pledges went through.

Next steps:

We are working on finalizing the Backerkit surveys.  We'll be sending out a few tests today, which will randomly go out to a small percentage of backers.  This is to ensure that everything is working properly before we send it out to everybody else.

For STL pledges:

Today I will upload all of your Kickstarter emails to MyMiniFactory.  If your Kickstarter email matches your MyMiniFactory email then you will be able to claim your STLs today.

If it doesn't, no worries!  You will be able to give us your MyMiniFactory email in the upcoming survey, after which we will get you your STLs.

In the meantime, make sure you have a MyMiniFactory account registered to speed up the process.

For physical pledges:

We have already started printing your orders.  Our goal it to have them all fulfilled by May 2026, but we will start shipping them as the orders are completed, mostly in the order that the pledges arrived (i.e. the earlier you pledged, the more likely we are to send your order earlier).

Make sure to keep an eye out for the Backerkit survey so you can confirm your shipping address, paying for shipping, and add on any more add-ons that you've decided to take.

I'm excited to see what you all do with your Depths of Perdition!

Thanks so much! And next steps...
2 months ago – Thu, Jan 08, 2026 at 09:32:10 AM

First off, thanks for all your support!  This is a great start to 2026.

With the campaign closed, we're going to immediately starting working on next steps.

Here's what to expect:

1.  It will take Kickstarter about 2 weeks to charge your cards and then deposit the money in our bank accounts.

2.  At that point we will also receive a full accounting from Kickstarter on all of your orders.

3.  We will then import all of that information into our Pledge Manager, and send out surveys to you to collect information such as shipping addresses (if needed), and your MyMiniFactory email addresses.

4.  If you ordered STLs, we'll use your Kickstarter email to fulfill them through MyMiniFactory.  If your Kickstarter email doesn't match your MyMiniFactory email, no worries, you'll just need to fill out a short survey to give us the proper email, and then we'll share them to that account.  This will be at the same time as the pledge manager.

5.  During the Pledge Manager you can finalize your orders, add any more add-ons you want, and then pay for taxes (if you are in Canada) and shipping (if you ordered physical products).

6.  We will work as fast and hard as we can to fulfill all physical orders by May 2026, as promised in the Kickstarter.   We'll keep you updated on our progress.

Thanks again for all of your support!

Happy 2026!
